Hi,

it seems that things have changed with the last update, as for fonts and typography.

I used to have everything set up in Appearance > Customize > Typography.

Now I see that I have to “generate API Key and set it via customizer.”

(First of all I don’t see why you would do this, in my opinion it is not right to create this situation because I don’t see it as any improvement, rather as an overload of work that forces me to do something from scratch).

I’d like you to explain more in detail how to “set the API Key via customizer”. I can generate the API Key from Google but cannot go any further.

And previous settings were automatically recovered.

Hello Anton, Bernardo - Thank you for help and confirmation.

As for why - for anyone else with same query - this was done because Envato imposed a new rule during our latest theme update where we can not provide our own Google API within theme. However, we have tried our best to keep it consistent and easy to add your own API’s.

Hy, a few months ago I added the google API for the google fonts, it was working fine, but suddenly my all feature images are gone and also Google font is not working Google API is there but it’s not reflecting in typography section I also changed google API to check but the problem remains same.
