I need to have my website in both English and Japanese. I see your users are using WPML for multi-language function. WPML is a premium add-on, is there any free add-on you can suggest which will integrate well with the Entrada theme?

Hello, the translation / multilingual version is more to do with your own setup and requirements rather than the theme. Entrada, like any other decent theme, comes with POT files, which is location inside the themes language folder. This POT file is standard for translating WordPress theme, and includes all theme specific texts. Beyond this, how you want to integrate it with your site and which plugin, software you use, is entirely upto you.
The reason most people use WPML is because it has best support for most of the languages, as well as supportive community where you can ask questions if you are stuck at any point.
