Issue with theme and woocommerce easy booking plugin_

Dear sir or madam,

We are using Entrada Theme on our website https://swissprivatetour.com, we are happy with. However, there’s one problem we are having using woocommerce booking.

The Issue:

If you visit this page: you see that we have option for customer to select date range.

When customer clicks on the book now, it takes them to woocommece checkout page to fill out the form to complete the order. However, the selected dates are not recorded in the order, in the checkout page nor on the woocommerce order invoice so there’s no way to tell for which date the tours have been selected.

Feedback from the plugin developer of woocommerce easy booking is provided below:

"it’s an issue with your theme. The dates should appear everywhere (cart, checkout, order page, emails, etc.). You can test on the demo website of Easy Booking. Please temporarily switch theme (to a classic one like “Storefront” or “Twentynineteen”) and try again to see if it fixes the issue.

If it does, you might have custom WooCommerce templates in your theme which are not correctly coded/not up-to-date and don’t show product meta. If it is the case, the best thing is to contact your theme developer."

We do not have this issue with site origin vantage theme which is in our test environment.

Note, there’s a second issue we have that woocommerce message is showing up that the woocommerce template is outdated as well and needs to be updated.

Thus we would like to seek your kind support to help us resolve the issue we are facing.

Look forward to your reply at the earliest convenience. Is it possible to get a reply send to our email?

Thank you,

Judith

Hello Judith,

Thank you for query and your patience while we looked into it. Entrada theme is compatible with WooCommerce Bookings plugin, the official booking plugin offered by WooCommerce, but not other third party booking plugins. Our theme is based on woocommerce and therefore, we certainly hove custom code on top of the WooCommerce plugin, otherwise the theme would behave like any default/general woocommerce store, instead of being tour specific.

Having said that, you could looking into WooCommerce Bookings plugin which is supported by theme and there is a demo of it on our demo site as to how this works with our theme, or you could also customise the theme and/or the plugin to suit your requirement and be compatible with this specific plugin. Unfortunately we do not provide theme/plugin customisations and you will need to use theme customization services via Envato studio or WP Kraken for those.

Thank you
