Problem with bookings that are managed as orders

Let me explain my problem.

It is a marketplace site offering various activities in Paris and its region. The site has been under development for almost 1 year (the project was put on hold following the global health crisis). Here is the url of the site which is currently with a “Coming Soon” page.

I can create administrator access to the backoffice if you wish and/or FTP.

I have your theme, with the following plugins:

Wc Vendor Pro
Wc Vendor Stripe Connect
Wc Vendor Woocommerce Booking
Woocommerce Booking

Everything has always worked well from the beginning, however for more than a week now the WUP platform has been experiencing problems.

All bookings, whether “direct” or in “availability request”, are considered as orders and not as reservations, which prevents the e-mails from being sent accordingly, i.e. :

The administrator and the seller no longer receive any confirmation mail when making a reservation (“direct” or in “availability request”)
The customer no longer receives any confirmation mail when making a reservation (“direct” or “availability request”).
On the Wordpress back-office administrator, reservations do not go back to the “reservation” tab, but to the “order” tab.
On the personal space of the sellers, the reservations do not go back to the “reservation” tab, but to the “order” tab.
On the customer’s personal space, the reservations do not go back as well.

After contacting the support of :

WC Vendor Pro
WC Vendor Woocomerce Booking
Woocommerce Booking

And after carrying out the tests below:

All plugins are disabled with the theme “Entrada”, it doesn’t work.
All plugins are disabled except those needed for the Entrada theme (Entrada Post Type - Entrada Theme Addons - Entrada VC Addons - Entrada WC taxonomy), it doesn’t work.
All plugins are disabled except the plugin “Entrada WC taxonomy”, the site crashes.
All plugins are deactivated except those necessary for the “Entrada” theme (Entrada Post Type - Entrada Theme Addons - Entrada VC Addons - Entrada WC taxonomy), but with the “Storefront” theme activated, it does not work.
All plugins are disabled, with the theme “Storefront” enabled, it works, reservations are taken into account and emails are triggered accordingly. I also played with the different versions of the Wordpress theme, WooCommerce, etc… It was not conclusive.

I conclude that the problem comes either from one of the “entrada” plugins or directly from the “entrada” theme, this is why I have taken over your support for 6 months, because I need your help to get the site back up and running, which in theory should have been delivered last week, this is an information to explain the situation, I am well aware that this has no impact in your resolution procedure.

You should know that we have, with the help of the supports discarded the 3 WC Vendor plugins, only Woocommerce Booking still has access. I can put you in touch if you wish.

Thank you very much for your help, I remain at your disposal, don’t hesitate if you have any questions.

Yours sincerely

Steven.

Hello,

I have gone through your query and tested the theme but there is no issue with the bookings. Nor any other user who is running WooCommerce Bookings are facing this issue. Our own demo site uses WooCommerce Bookings and we do not face the issue on our demo site either, so making the changes in theme will not produce any solution as far as I can tell from my tests. As for other plugins, which are not officially supported, they do sometimes alter database which can create such issues. But I will not be able to help with those plugins.

However, first I recommend you to test the steps mentioned below:

Once you have followed the steps, please leave the site as is and let me know so that I can test it for you.
