Reviews/Comments submission not working

Hi Sanjeev,

I’m so close to getting this website completed. I’m really happy with how it’s looking but the reviews are still not submitting. They were submitting, so it’s probably a result of some changes I made to the content-single-product.php file. I’ve updated the Entrada theme to its latest version and have ported changes (there was only one line of code which needed changing). I’ve uploaded the updated php file but the reviews are still not submitting. I followed your instructions on any changes I did so wondered if there was some code that has been removed which might fix this problem. Are you able to help, otherwise I will have to disable the comments/reviews.

Hello Jane,

I am glad to hear everything is working out and you are near completion.

As for the reviews / comments tab not working, can you temporarily switch to the main entrada theme instead of entrada child, and test this and let me know if the issue still persists after doing that?

Hi Sanjeev

It does work when I activate Entrada, rather than the child theme. It was working until 26/3. I must have made changes (possibly making reviews full width, removing FAQs). Could this have been it?

Hello Jane,

Since it works when activating the Entrada main theme, the issue is most certainly on the custom code you have added via the child theme. If you want help with this, please send the login details to your wp-admin and FTP details by and I will look into it for you and let you know.
