Revolution slider background video not working on chrome

Hi,

The video background is not working in chrome and is stuttering in Firefox - can you take a look…

I have tested this on mac and windows with chrome but am not able to see the issue on our demo site. https://themes.waituk.com/entrada-default/home/home-video-bg/

Are we comparing like for like? Which page on the demo site embeds a youtube video as background - I need to see what’s different?

Hi,

That page doesn’t use an embed from Youtube - it’s a self hosted video running in the background.

I’ve done some hunting and think the problem is this:

My theme has Revolution slider Version 5.4.7 - this version has a bug with Video playback in Chrome. They’ve fixed it in version Version 5.4.8 StarPath (14th June 2018)

Fixed YouTube BG video not loading sometimes in the latest Chrome
Fixed incorrect Vimeo Layer position on slide change
Fixed WooCommerce Slider incorrectly adding all In Stock products of all categories if choosen
Fixed WPML Slider, incorrectly using wrong language Slides in some configurations
Can you get a new version of revolution slider to me - v5.4.8?
