Setting up WPML, product details not showing

Hello Sanjeev,

I can’t set-up WPML properly.

1. I have downloaded the custom_meta_box as you suggested in your clear instruction, yet the product details like Overview and Itinerary don’t show up.

2. Also when I want to translate a page build by pagebuilder, the translation editor doesn’t work fine either. See Printscreen)

3. Last, since I work with this, my product overview is messed, only one product showing and wrapped text on right side of the screen. (See Printscreen)

I must be doing something wrong, hop you can help me.

Hello,

Are you using the “WooCommerce Multilingual products translation” ? Can you switch this and check if you are able to translate it?

If you still have difficulty - please go to “Report a bug” link at top and create ticket with your URL and wp-admin access as well as FTP access and I will look into it for you and update you with cause / solution.

The tour detail page tabs is a custom template with text editor and not the page builder, you can only use text editor in these fields.

I suppose you are adding text via page builder, for the tabs please use text editor as mentioned above since the page builder is not supported on these tabs.

Thank you for reply.

1. Also when I use the translation via Woocommerce, the field are not given in the translation editor.

2. Under item 2. I was referring to pages like “About us” or even the homepage, that have WPBakery elements. In the editor all elements (and text are shown in one big soup of HTML codes, instead of element per element. How can I manage these pages?

3. At point number three I was referring to the overview of products in the back-end (under products > all products) -not how the products or pages are shown on the site.

Sorry if I haven’t explained it cleary in my first item. I hope you can point me in the right direction.

I think I have found the solution for point 1. Manually I have switched on the custom fields in product and now the fields like Itinerary and FAQ are showing.

I have continued to find out what is happening. Have also followed the instructions to copy the wpml-config.xml file fromone of your posts. But

1. The rich text toolbar is not shown in custom field translation, although WPML servicedesk advices me that after applying the wpml-config.xml thi should work.

2. Pages with bakery elements like Entrada Service Block only give ‘Body’ translation, so a big soup of code.

3. My tabel of products in the admin panel has an issue with the text configuration so the rows appear really wide.

See my screen shots. Hope we can make this work.
