Hey,
I just noticed that the Slider Revolution plugin on our website shows up as “Not Activated”. I browsed on the community posts and I saw that it’s okay to show up as this as long as it’s updated to the latest version, but whenever I try to update it, it asks me to activate it. It also says that it can be manually updated through the theme, but I can’t figure out how.
Our current version is 5.3.1.5 and the latest available version is 5.4.6.2. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Yes, since the revolution slider is a plugin thats added via the theme, you don’t need to nor can you update it directly. The direct update is only for users who purchased the Revolution Slider from code canyon and didn’t get it free included with the theme.
You can certainly update to the latest version though. To update to latest version, please go to themeforest, download the theme package and unzip estrada-package.zip Inside it, you will find extensions >> rev-slider.zip which is the latest version. You don’t need to unzip the rev-slider.zip
Simply go to your WP dashboard >> Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Slider Revolution then deactivate and delete the correct slider plugin.
After that, Plugins >> Add New and then you can upload the rev-slider.zip from the estrada-package >> extensions folder.
