Taxes on Add-ons

Hi Sanjeev,

My add-ons could have a different tax bracket than the itinerary. How do i set that up?

I went through that article already, but correct me if I’m wrong that literarily does what it says, no tax on addons. We however do need tax on the addons, but the addon tax can be different than the itinerary tax, and cannot be included in the price.

Example: our itinerary has a 5% tax. If we however want to add a Ferry service, then this addon needs to be taxed at 0%. If we then also want to add an activity in Canada, this activity addon will be taxed at 5%. If we however want to add another activity, but now one in the USA, then the tax for this activity will be at 0%.

Hello Kimo,

I am afraid there is no separate tax rate feature just for calculating the addons with different % for it. It can only have a default tax or it can be removed if you are planning to add the addons prices incluiding taxes.

Hello Kimo,

I am afraid I haven’t come across a plugin to do this, also no other user had mentioned this specific requirement yet, so that could be why. If not, you could also use WP Kraken to add this feature as they have customized our theme for many users already.
