  4. Categories

  5. Holiday type

  6. Destination

  7. Activity levels

I am using Polylang and I already transalted the home page.

I am not asking about translating strings. I am talking about translating content.

I need my website in 4 different languages, and I would like to know how I can translate the following (as I already did with home page):

  1. Testimonials

I am confused! The strings are something that is within the theme code files, and content is something you add via page builder - now, can please help me with which one you are having difficulty. And also, sharing screenshot of frontend where they appear please?

Hi,

I already translated string using locotranslate.

I also translated pages after installing populang as you can see in the first screenshot.

I would like to translate to different languages (spanish, english, catalan and french) the content insdie the folling pages/sections as you can see in the other screenshots:

Sorry, I seem to miss when you update the posts, I will check this.

To answer your query, you can have the site in asa many languages as you want, we support and recommend WPML for that. This will also translate all the custom taxonomies you have mentioned. Additionally they have thorough documentation and support for translations. Also, you can ask us if the translation is theme specific.

Hi,

I don’t have a WPML account and I see I have to pay yearly for it. Right now I am using Polylang in my site (360xplore.cat), it’s not possible to translate all I exposed in this ticket with that plugin?

Usually themes that work only with certain plugins, they include it in the theme purchase.

Hello Marius,

The Polylang will translate evrything that is generated via WordPress core, but not the content generated via other plugins like woocommerce. From the list you have shown, Testimonila and Email Form text should be transtalted as usual, and I can see it in your screenshot for email that its translated. As for 3 - 7, they are woocommerce specific strings, which is automatically translated via WPML as they have woocommerce multilingual plugin bundled with WPML. As for the plugin being included, I am afreaid no theme can include this plugin, because these do not offer extended license like Visual Pagebuilder or Revolution sliders. You will have to purchase the wpml plugin directly.
