After purchasing, installing and activating WPML I have error messages:
To easily translate Visual Composer and WooCommerce, you need to add the following WPML components:
WPML Translation Management (Install | Download)
WPML String Translation (Install | Download)
We can translate every page / product category etc, but the Nav Bar on the homepage is not visible in the translated pages.
Do we have to purchase the more expensive WPML CMS plugin, or did I miss a trick?

The two components you have mentioned are free as far as I know, if you have the WPML multilingual. However, it could be that you updated the WPML site press multilingual but those two extensions are outdated. Please check the link below for same issue with solution:
As for the requirement, you do need the string translation plugin, but please see the link above and if in doubt, contact the WPML support to resolve this issue for you, and I am sure they will not charge extra for those addons.

Clear now, Multilingual (Blog version) is not enough, you need the more expensive Multilingual CMS version. Anyway, now I’ve upgraded, installed it and activated all WPML plugins, I still don’t get the NavBar on the homepage in Dutch working. I set all possible content on ‘translatable + fallback’ to avoid missing translations are the problem. Translated the category product taxonomy. But just can’t get it visible on the homepage. Any recommendations?
